I’m so upset right now… All this planning…
The ridiculous weather we are having has forced me to cancel my dinner party to raise money and awareness for Amnesty International’s Stop Violence Against Women campaign. I just couldn’t let my guests travel in these conditions. This storm is expected to bring us over a foot of blowing snow within the next 24 hrs.
I will reschedule the dinner party but today would have been the perfect day though, don’t you think? Today is International Women’s Day…
Funny enough, these are exactly the types of setbacks I’d hoped to be able to share with you all. Rarely do things get pulled off without a hitch. Wasn’t expecting Mother Nature to be the source of this setback though, but then again, perhaps I should have planned for that. I am a Montrealer afterall ;)
